Mango me up!
Mango seed butter is one of those ingredients that I just cannot have enough of. It is full of vitamins A and E and it leaves your skin feeling extra hydrated and soft. If you have ever suffered from eczema, psoriasis or extremely dry or cracked skin mango butter has been shown to help your dry skin problems. It’s great for sensitive areas as well.
Mango butter is so versatile that it can be found in body creams, facial creams, body washes, lip balms and more!
Keep in mind that not all products are all natural, so make sure you always read the label.
Here’s a simple recipe for face cream that you are all sure to love!
3 Tablespoons Mango Seed Butter
1 Tablespoon Jojoba Oil
Add a couple drops of scented essential oil (but only if you want to)
Here is how you will make the magic happen!
Melt 3 Tablespoons of mango butter in a pot on the stove.
Remove from heat and add 1 Tablespoon of Jojoba Oil.
Add drops of your chosen scented oil
Then stir mixture and pour out into a separate container
Let the mixture cool. Keep in mind the mixture will then resemble the consistency of frosting.
If you find it is too thick you can thin it out by adding 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil.
Make sure you use it sparingly. Put it on your hands and rub it in, then apply to you face!
Make sure you keep your fingers out of the container so as to not contaminate the product with anything on your hands!
