DIY: You Are What You Eat

DIY: You Are What You Eat

Did you know we consume anywhere from four to seven pounds of lipstick within a lifetime? Yuck! Sadly, consuming lipstick is inevitable, which is why it is so important to use an all-natural lip-gloss. Modern lipsticks are formulated from upwards of 10,000 chemicals, 89% of which have never been tested for human safety. Use this DIY recipe from organicauthority.com to get luscious, hydrated lips while staying safe!

Ingredients:

  • 10 Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey
  • 2 Drops Vitamin E

Directions:

  • Heat up the cranberries, Vitamin E, Oil, Honey on a stovetop, bringing it to a boil
  • Crush up the cranberries with a wooden spoon until the color has turned to your lip-stain liking
  • Let it cool for ten minutes and then strain through a cheese cloth to get out the cranberry bits
  • Spoon it into a container of your choice
