Sadly, not my favorite cleanser

"This cleanser is very concentrated so I only need one pump to clean my entire face. Unfortunately, this cleanser doesn't remove all of my makeup, and so I have to follow cleansing with toner. NOTE: Indie Lee's shipping is horrible. My first shipment was mis-delivered (their shipper could not provide delivery confirmation), and it took over a week for Indie Lee's customer service to respond to my email requesting another shipment. When they did ship out my order again, it took several weeks to arrive at my house, since they don't use top tier shippers. I won't buy directly from them again due to these shipping and customer service issues."

Purifying better than Brightening

"I have used full bottles of both the purifying and brightening cleansers, and the purifying wins hands down. The purifying leaves my skin smooth, even-toned, and supple. It seems to clear out my pores without drying my skin. I hope they make it forever. The brightening smells good, but made my jaw line itch, leading to melasma, and activated my mild rosacea. For reference, I’m 50 with generally great skin that can sometimes be reactive."

Does this cleanser have an aroma?: Hi Soph, thanks for the question. Yes, Purifying Face Wash is scented with natural fruit extracts, such as orange, grape and lemon, as well as flower extracts from vanilla, jasmine and more. What is the ph of this cleanser?: Hi there! The pH range for Purifying Face Wash is 4.5-5.2. All our products are formulated to be an ideal balance for your skin.
Hi! Can the purifying cleanser cause purging? I notice a few more breakouts, but I am also noticing my skin and texture getting better. Is it okay to continue using?: Hi Holly, thanks for your question. Everyone's skin adjusts to new products differently. The Purifying Face Wash is intended as a clarifying cleanser, so depending on your unique skin, there could be an adjustment period with the first few weeks of usage where breakouts or oiliness may increase. This should subside as your skin re-calibrates. Ingredient sensitivities can also play into an increase of breakouts, so please refer to the ingredient list on the product page if you have any known sensitivities. Does this product have salicylic acid? I'm looking for a cleanser that does.: Hi there, thanks for your question. Purifying Face Wash does not contain salicylic acid. If you're looking for more deep cleansing and exfoliation, you might consider our Clearing Mask (which *does* contain salicylic acid). You would use the mask once a week after cleansing. Will you ever come out with a jumbo size of the Purifying Cleanser in a plastic bottle? I understand the benefits of glass but I am a butterfingers and I know the day is coming when this bottle is going to break when it is dropped in the sink :(: Thank you for your question. While we do not have plans at this time to come out with a Jumbo Size Purifying Face Wash, here is a hack I recommend to avoid bottles from breaking. If you have long hair, put your hair ties around the bottle. That way you will know where a hair tie is at all times (I can never find one when I need it) and it will act like a shock absorber if the bottle falls. If you don't have long hair, rubber bands do the trick as well.
