Indie Lee is committed to accessibility and believes all of our customers and consumers should have full and complete access to our website and mobile site. We are continuously improving the user experience for everyone, applying relevant standards to ensure website accessibility to all persons, including those with disabilities.

Our Website substantially conforms to the World Wide Web Consortium’s WCAG Version 2.1, Level AA Standard by using an accessibility widget provided by AccessiBe. You can view it on the lower right, on our website. It allows customers to adjust our website’s UI (user interface) to their personal needs.

Here are some features available inside the accessibility widget, that make the website accessible:

  1. Typography settings - it allows the increase and decrease of the font size, type, spacing, alignment, line height
  2. Color editing - select various color contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted and monochrome. Additionally, swap color schemes of titles, texts, and backgrounds, with over 7 different color options.
  3. Animations – epileptic users can stop all running animations in an instant, at the click of a button. Those animations include videos, GIFs and CSS flashing transitions.
  4. Content highlighting – emphasize important elements such as links and titles, or choose to highlight focused or hovered elements specifically
  5. Audio muting – mute the entire website instantly (great for users with hearing devices, who may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playing)
  6. Cognitive disorders – the widget has an integrated search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to easily decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others
  7. Screen reader optimizations - accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the widget provides image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology.
  8. Keyboard navigation - the widget adjusts the website’s HTML, making the website fully operable by keyboard. This makes it possible to navigate the entire site using the TAB and SHIFT+TAB keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with ESC, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key, and more. Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus (Alt+1).
  9. Other options – change cursor color and sizing, set printing mode, virtual keyboard and more
