The Invisible Strength of Women

The Invisible Strength of Women
Mar 8, 20261 min read

March holds two things close to my heart.

International Women’s Day and Autoimmune Awareness Month.

They may seem separate, but for me they are deeply connected.

Autoimmune disease affects over 50 million Americans, and nearly 80 percent of those living with these conditions are women. That statistic alone tells a powerful story. Women are carrying a disproportionate share of chronic illness, often quietly.

I am one of them.

Living with seven autoimmune conditions has changed how I see strength. It has reshaped how I define success. It has influenced how I think about self-care and the products I use in and on my body and in my home.

When we created Botanicals, it was not just about accessibility. It was about intention. Clean, thoughtfully formulated skincare that supports women in every season of life. Products that feel uncomplicated. Supportive. Considered.

International Women’s Day is about honoring the power, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere.

Autoimmune Awareness Month is about recognizing the health realities so many women navigate daily.

For me, Botanicals sits at the intersection of both. A reminder that care should be accessible. That health should not feel exclusive. That self-care is a right, not an indulgence.

Today, I am celebrating women in all their strength and complexity. The entrepreneurs. The mothers. The caregivers. The advocates. The women managing more than anyone sees.

You are extraordinary.
