Squalane. CoQ-10. Safflower Oleosomes. Three ingredients, built to work together for the first time. Squalane brings rich, weightless hydration. CoQ-10 brings real antioxidant support. Safflower Oleosomes release moisture slowly and helps provide barrier support. Together they create our new Indie Lee Signature Complex, and it's the foundation for what we build going forward.
Why these three?
Squalane has always been one of Indie's favorite ingredients, so naturally, it's the anchor. Lightweight, plant-derived, and biomimetic, so it layers in without ever feeling heavy.
CoQ-10 (Ubiquinone, if you want the technical name) is a genuinely potent antioxidant, or as indie calls it, "the mother of antioxidants".
Safflower Oleosomes is the one we get asked most about. They are tiny natural moisture reservoirs that release hydration slowly and help support our skins barrier.
Any one of these ingredients earns its place on its own, but putting them together creates something special.
One complex, a lot of petals
Think of it like a flower. The Signature Complex is the center, the same three ingredients, the same foundation. The other ingredients are the petals, selected to give each formula its own purpose. In Barrier Boost, for example, Queen of the Night and ceramides help shape a formula specifically designed to support the skin barrier.
Where you'll find it right now:
-
Vitamin C Serum. The full complex, working alongside Vitamin C and Camu Camu for brightening.
-
Lip Remedy Mask. The full complex, layered with a ceramide and peptides, for lips specifically.
-
Barrier Boost Moisture Cream. The full complex, paired with a ceramide complex and Queen of the Night Extract, for skin that needs real barrier support.
Different petals. Distinct formulas. One signature foundation.
