Himalayan Salt

The pink crystals of Himalayan salt are technically sea salts that formed almost 300 million years ago when the sea was covered with lava, evaporated the water, leaving behind salt deposits that formed within rock covered mountains. These sea salts contain over 80 trace minerals, are harvested by hand and come in varying textures and sizes. Geography: Himalayan region, especially in caves located in Northern Pakistan.
