All Indie Lee products have at least a 30-month shelf life from the date of manufacture. We recommend using your products within within 6 months after opening for the best experience.
For optimal freshness, store products at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. While keeping products in the refrigerator can make application feel quite refreshing (try this with CoQ-10 Toner in the summer!), it will not make them last longer. And remember, for products formulated with naturally-derived ingredients, color variations and ingredient separation is natural!

Everything you smell is real and natural from botanically-based ingredients! We do not use any synthetic fragrance in our products.
Since every pregnancy is different, we always recommend discussing your product selections with your physician.
Certain ingredients are flagged for caution during pregnancy, including retinoids and acne-fighters (such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid). While the majority of our products are free of these flagged ingredients, wintergreen-derived salicylic acid is present in our Banish Solution, Banish Stick, Clearing Mask, Gentle Daily Peel, I-Waken Resurfacing Mask, and Overnight Banish Gel.
Our Mineral Sunscreen is a body sunscreen that offers 40 minutes of water- and sweat-resistant SPF 30 protection. It's ideal for beach days, hikes, and outdoor sports.
Our Daily SPF Primer is a serum-like, multi-purpose face product that provides SPF 50 protection, a radiant finish, and just a "hint" of tint. It can serve as stand-alone SPF, a makeup primer, or a sheer coverage foundation.
Both products use uncoated (non-nanoparticle) Zinc as the active ingredient and are formulated WITHOUT chemical sunscreens known to be harmful to coral reefs.

All but two of our products are vegan. Nourishing Lip Tint and I-Waken Eye Serum are "beegan" (they contain humanely-sourced beeswax, bees are not harmed).
Absolutely not. Nanoparticles are among the Ingredients We Avoid. We use uncoated Zinc Oxide in our SPF products, which is NON-nanoparticle.

First and foremost, make sure all empties are properly cleaned before recycling! Uncleaned empties are not recyclable, cause delays in sorting, and ultimately end up in the trash. If you're not sure how to clean your empties, our Empties Cleaning Guide provides some helpful tips.
Once your empties are clean and dry, find a beauty product recycling drop-off location near you on our Stockists page by clicking the 'Recycling Drop Off Location' tag under the map search field. You can also mail any clean, hard-to-recycle packaging directly to Pact Collective.
Unfortunately, products do get discontinued from time to time. We know it can be frustrating! If you're unable to find a product using the keyword search fuction on the website, feel free to check the Discontinued page to see if your product has been sunsetted.
